W.J. BINGHAM BEGINS WORK WITH FALL TRACK ASPIRANTS

Candidates Report at 2.30 for Five Weeks' Work Under New Director and Coach Farrell

University and 1924 track candidates are to report for fall work this afternoon at 2.30 under the direction of W. J. Bingham '16, the newly appointed Track Supervisor, and Coach Eddie Farrell. D. F. O'Connell '21, and captain of the Crimson team, C. G. Krogness '21, E. O. Gourdin '21 and C. B .S. Evans '21 of last year's team will aid in the fall coaching.

This fall season of five weeks is to be an important part of the year's campaign and field event men especially are needed to furnish material to bolster up the weakest department of the team.

Two fall meets have been tentatively planned. One, which is to come on October 27, is a Freshman dormitory meet, and the other, to be field on November 3, will be a handicap meet open to the whole college.

"Pooch" Donovan will also give some time from his football work, and it is expected that every letter man, not out for cross-country, will report today at the Locker Building.
