HOLD COLLEGE CONFERENCE

WILL MEET IN MONROE, N. Y.

The complete schedule for the College conference to be held from Thursday, June 17, to Sunday, June 20, inclusive, was announced yesterday. This conference, at which there will be delegates from the University, Yale, Amherst, Williams, Vassar, Wellesley, Cornell, Swarthmore, Haverford, Johns Hopkins, Bryn Mawr, University of Pennsylvania, Oberlin, Beloit and many other prominent universities, will be held at the MacKenzie School, Monroe, N. Y. The rates, inclduing room, meals and registration, is $3.50 per person. The schedule follows:

Thursday Evening--The Historical Relation of the University to Social Movements. A brief historical sketch of early university activities ending with a survey of the problems facing the students today.

Friday Morning--How Students of Asia Are Changing Their Countries. How are the student movements organized? Leadership by graduates or undergraduates? How their life differs from ours. What forces have made them influential? What they do and how they do it. How European Students Influence Public Life. A discussion of the same questions with regard to Europe.

Friday Afternoon--Free time--Games, hikes, swimming, etc.

Friday Evening--Is the American University Preparing Students for Intelligent Social Living. Is it teaching them to think? Is it pointing out the vital present-day problems? Can it as it is now organized do these things?

Saturday Morning--The Undergraduate's Part in Public Progress. Should he participate in public affairs not directly connected with his college? What he has done. What he is doing." His present-day opportunity.

Saturday Afternoon--Free Time--Games, hikes, swimming, etc.

Saturday Evening--Organization Meeting--To coordinate activities and ensure continuity of effort.

Sunday Morning--The Tasks Ahead--Summary of plans developed at the conference. Address, "Youth and Life."
