Over 5000 alumni, graduates and non-graduates, both from the college and from the Sheffield Scientific School, are expected at New Haven for Yale's Commencement Week, which is to begin tomorrow evening, and will continue through Friday, ending with the Harvard-Yale boat races. Beside the regular reunions of 23 classes, many others will gather unofficially. The famous old war class of 1862 will be the most prominent of the unofficially reuniting classes, when after 58 years a majority of the 25 living members of the class is expected to be on hand for the celebrations.
The usual program of events, somewhat enlarged, will take place. Among the changes to be initiated are the omission of the "ten o'clock" Campus celebration on Tuesday night, and the introduction of an open forum after the alumni meeting on Tuesday morning.
