The first close game in the interclass series played at Soldiers Field yesterday between 1920 and 1922 resulted in a 3-2 victory for the Seniors. By virtue of their three wins, one over each of the other teams, the Seniors are now leading the league by an easy margin. S. H. Johnson was again the mainstay for 1920 in the pitcher's box holding 1922 to six scattered hits. The feature hit of the game was made in the sixth by E. A. McCouch, the first batter up, who drove the ball into deep left center for a home run.
The Freshman class team broke their losing streak yesterday by a 9-2 victory at the expense of 1921.
