The Gallaudet College, Washington, D. C., the only institution for the higher education of the deaf in the world, has sent out a call for teachers. The college conducts a normal school for young men and women who plan to go into the work of teaching the deaf, and positions in this class are open for next year. These fellowships, as they are called, include board, room, laundry, tuition, and a cash compensation varying from $300 to $600, according to the amount of teaching done by the fellow. At the end of the new school year, there will be a number of good positions open for the graduates of this normal class, including possible openings in the faculty of Gallaudet. Any one interested in the work of educating the deaf through a normal fellowship at Gallaudet College should apply to Pereival Hall, President, Kendall Green Washington, D. C.
