According to an announcement made yesterday by the 1923 Red Book Committee, the editorial competition will end Thursday night, April 15, and the names of the ten men elected to the board will be announced in the following morning's CRIMSON. At the present time only thirty-three out of over sixty editorial candidates are still competing for positions. Because of the extremely close competition and in order to reward the winner, it has been decided to elect the man who ranks highest in the competition to the position of sub-chairman of the committee. The competitions for the other departments will continue until after the vacation.
According to present plans there will be approximately seventy-five more pages in this year's book than in the 1922 Red Book, while the books will be placed on sale on the morning of Wednesday, June 2,--the day of the Freshman Jubilee.
In order to make sure that the book will appear on time and that it will contain a complete record of the class, it is essential that every member of 1923 who has not had his picture taken at Notman's should make arrangements for it at once. Furthermore, the committee desires to have the "life" blanks for this year filled out immediately. If there are any additions to be made to the "lives" already handed in, these additions must be made between now and May 1.
