Because of the overwhelming success scored by the Hasty Pudding Club on its spring trip and because of the great demand for tickets, it has been decided to give an extra performance of "Barnum Was Right,' to which the public will be admitted, at the Hasty Pudding Club Theatre on Thursday evening. The two Boston presentations will take place in Jordan Hall on April 30 and May 1. Tickets for all three remaining performances are on sale at the Co-operative Branch, Leavitt & Peirce's, and Herrick's, but only balcony seats are left for the Boston shows.

The play made an unprecedented hit in New York and Philadelphia and received unusually enthusiastic reviews from the press in both cities. "The lines and lyrics are far and away the best that have come from many composers this season," said the "Evening Post," while the "Transcript" commented that it was "Tuneful, colorful and far from the jejune trade stuff of the average professional extravaganza."

The American rights of the play have been acquired by John Craig, in conjunction with the Shuberts, for production on the regular stage, and its authors. R. E. Sherwood '18 and S. P. Sears '17, are now revising it in order that it may more adequately meet the requirements of a professional cast.
