School Boys Hit in Pinches and Local Ball Tossers Lose 6-3.

In a practice game held at Middlesex on Saturday the University second baseball team was defeated by the score of 6-3. Both teams showed the lack of outdoor practice, and although there was little to choose between the batting of the two teams the school boys' hits were more timely.

The Crimson nine made its first tally in the second inning when a single by E. E. Allen '21 let in M. P. Davis '21. In the sixth inning W. J. Banes '22 crossed the plate on a balk, and the final score was made in the last inning by E. H. Dorr '21 who knocked a three-bagger and then came home on a sacrifice hit.
