With representatives from the Pathe, International, and Republic Film Companies at the field and three former stars, F. W. Capper '15, H. Jaques '11, and E. K. Merrihew '10, coaching the squad, the candidates for the University and 1923 track teams spent a busy afternoon at practice yesterday. The pictures which were taken will be exhibited at the meeting in the Living Room of the Union next Thursday, when the special film of national champions will be shown. As the season progresses it is planned to have more pictures taken, so that the members of the squad may see their own improvement and the general ability of the entire team.
Beginning today intensive training for the Pennsylvania Relay Carnival will start. Practice during the vacation period will be resumed Tuesday, April 20, for all men who remain in Cambridge, while the other members of the squad will have to return on Thursday, the 22nd. Such measures have become necessary because of the hard schedule ahead of both University and Freshman teams.
