Fund Needs Outside Districts' Aid

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The steady flow of contributions to the Endowment Fund from the so-called rural districts, those outside the canvassing centres of New York and Boston, has reached a total of more than $3,000,000. In the last tabulation of the Harvard men in the world it was found there were 20,660 graduates living outside of Boston and New York. Up to February 1 only 6600 of these outside graduates had contributed to the fund, leaving more than 14,000, or 70 per cent., still to be enrolled. Contributions of $240 each from the unenrolled 70 per cent, would total $3,400,000 and complete the fund.
