Scrimmage with Melrose in Pavilion

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

On account of poor ice on Soldiers Field, the hockey team was obliged to practice yesterday in the Pavilion, under the direction of Coaches Winsor and Claflin. The first 15 minutes was spent in taking the puck down the rink and breaking through the defense men. After this there was a scrimmage with Melrose Legion, which the University won 3 to 0. The game was not as fast as usual because four men played in the forward line, and consequently the small rink was very crowded. Coach Winsor laid special emphasis on covering the men on the opposing team.
