The Freshman hockey team winds up its season this evening in what promises to be a fast struggle against Yale 1923. This game will be played at the Pavilion on the same bill as the University-Sherbrooke Club encounter.
The last game with the Elis was played in 1918 when the 1921 seven defeated Yale 7 to 0.
So far this year the Freshmen have played nine contests, winning six and losing three. They defeated Melrose 4 to 0, Somerville 6 to 0, Dartmouth '23 2 to 1, Newton High 2 to 1, Andover 5 to 1, and Arlington 5 to 2.
The seven contains two former school hockey captains. Captain George Owen played defense for Newton High before entering the University and captained the seven during his last year. D. F. Thayer played on the Middlesex team, which he led during the season of 1918. M. Fish has had experience at Choate, J. Larocque at St. Mark's. J. H. Dempsey at Middlesex, and J. G. Flint at Noble and Greenough.
Tickets may be obtained at Leavitt & Pierce or at the box office of the Pavilion.
