CLAFLIN'S MEN PRIMED FOR CANADIAN ATTACK

SECOND ELI GAME NEXT WEEK

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Tonight at 8.15 the University hockey team plays the Sherbrooke Hockey Club in what promises to be the last game that the team will play at the Pavilion this season. No other games have been scheduled for the home rink, except the possibility of a third game with Yale here.

With the same line-up as in previous games, the Crimson sextet will take the ice with seven successive victories to their credit. Coach Claflin has given the team an easy week, with the result that they will meet Sherbrooke thoroughly rested and at the top of their form, while next week the intensive training for the game with Yale starts.

Conley a Potent Contender.

The Sherbrooke Hockey Club is considered one of the best of the Canadian outfits, and last night's game with the Harvard Club gave them an indication of the style of play used in the Pavilion. "Pop" Conley of the old Arena team at left wing is the best known of the Sherbrooke players, and he is probably the one who will give the Crimson the most trouble. Conley's method of play, is peculiarly adapted to the small surface of the Pavilion, and, although last night's game is the first he has played there, there is little doubt that he will be able to use to advantage his old speed and clever stick-work.

Tonight's games at the Pavilion will be a double-header with the 1923 sextet opposing the Yale yearlings. The fact that this is the only game that the Freshmen play with Yale makes an added attraction to the inducement already offered of seeing the University team in action here for the last time.
