Last night in the Hemenway Gymnasium a basketball meeting was held to demonstrate, and to show the correct interpretation of the rules which have been recently passed by the "Rules Committee." The meeting was attended by over two hundred coaches, both professional and collegiate, players, and officials from all over New England.
Mr. Daniel Kelly, Assistant Director of Education of the University, called two teams, one representing the University and the other a quintet composed of Law and Business School players, on the floor for the demonstration game. From time to time he pointed out the fouls which were committed and explained whether they were personal or technical. After the ends of the two halves, a general discussion was held and questions asked by the audience of Mr. Hoyt and Mr. Tower, the official interpreters.
