A meeting of the minor sport council was held last night in order to devise plans to stimulate interest in minor sports among the members of the University. For a number of years, interest in minor sports has been lagging and on account of the comparatively few men competing, minor teams have not been very successful.
To carry out its plans, the council appointed a committee to see about a training table, the awarding of insignia to members of the various teams, and to formulate plans to establish a minor sport club in the University.
