This afternoon the University squash teams A and B will play their first scheduled games of the season, the former team with the B. A. A. in Boston and the latter with the Harvard Club team B at the University squash courts.
At present, team A consists of the following men: M. Bradice; '22, L. A. Eldridge '21, H. C. Janin '22, D. McKey '22 and A. Houghton '21; the following men make up team B: C. Wakefield '22, F. W. Crocker '22, M. P. Baker '22, E. M. Hinkle '23, and C. J. Mason '22.
To help meet the constantly increasing demand for squash courts on Freshmen days, the University squash courts will be open on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday nights from 8 until 10 o'clock beginning December the 13th. This plan will be continued as long as the attendance shows a demand for evening hours.
The fall tournament of the Harvard Squash Racquets Clu has reached the third round. In the second round, M. P. Baker '22 defeated F. K. Sanders 2G.B.: H. C. Janin '22 won from T. S. Hannington '23 by default: L. A. Eldrige '21 defeated C. Wakefield '22, H. Elliot Jr. '22 beat B. Wigglesworth '28; R. E. Smith '22 defeated W. E. Sedgwick '22: R. Watts '23 beat S. Frothingham 4 E. S.: F. McN. Bacon '21, defeated E. A. Weeks '22: F. W. Crocker '22 beat T. H. A. Zerega di Zerega '24, G. King 1G.B. defeated J. G. Swift '22, and L. B. Norrie 3E.S. won from T. Dejonge '28.
