Today the campaign begins for enlisting one hundred per cent of the student body to aid the Endowment Fund. The Fund is now far short of the sum required to institute improvements needed in all parts of the University, the present subscriptions being barely enough to cover the increased salaries of our professors.

There is no fixed goal or sum which the students must attempt to complete. It is expected that all will subscribe as much as respective means will permit; it may be much; it may be little. The only goal is that there be one hundred per cent subscribed. The needs for improvements in the University are most apparent to those who are working here now. Universal support from the student body will do much toward showing the Graduates who are somewhat out of touch with University affairs how necessary is the success of the Endowment Fund.
