Preparations for the Harvard-Princeton Concert and Ball tonight, to be held under the combined direction of the Glee Club and the Union, have been completed. At 8.45 the Princeton Banjo Club will open the concert at Sanders Theatre, while at 11 o'clock Meyer Davis and his orchestra, brought from Washington, D. C., especially for this occasion, and Rufus Johnson's Black and White Orchestra will play the first strains of dance music in the Union. Both these functions are for all Harvard and Princeton men and their guests.
Fifty men will arrive late this afternoon to represent the Princeton Musical Clubs in tonight's concert, and will be the guests of the Glee Club during their visit here. Much interest in the concert and ball is reported from Princeton in telegrams received by the Union from President Hibben and the Daily Princetonian, expressing appreciation of the special invitations extended to Princeton men.
