At the regular meeting of the Harvard Engineering Society this evening at 8 o'clock in Pierce 110. C. M. Holland '05 will give a talk on the new vehicular tunnel under the Hudson River between New York City and Jersey City.
This project is now under construction after many years of planning and will be the largest and most important highway tunnel in the world. Mr. Holland, as chief engineer and designer of this tunnel, and as the foremost authority on tunnels in this country is eminently fitted to talk on this subject. The meeting is open to members of the University.
