Tonight at 11 o'clock the University Soccer team will leave for Philadelphia to the meet the strong Haverford eleven tomorrow. The team, will lay over in Philadelphia on Friday, and on Saturday will play its last game of the season against the University of Pennsylvania on Franklin Field.
The regular team, five substitutes, Manager H. K. Guinzburg '21, Assistant Manager H. Parker '22, and Coach Burgess will make the trip.
After getting a rather poor start, being beaten in several non-league games, and in two league games with Cornell and Princeton, the University came back last. Saturday by fighting the strong Yale team to a tie in a game which went into two overtime periods. As the season progressed the eleven has shown marked improvement and is expected to make a very creditable showing in these last two games.
