The Yale players will wear numbers in the game a week from Saturday; Harvard, as the matter now rests, will not be numbered. Harvard will not play the game as Yale and Princeton play it, but will remain on the outside. If the members of the Crimson team are numbered, somebody may be able to follow the plays with a little more accuracy,--but this must never occur, the graduates must be kept in the dark. When the Crimson's left end goes over for a touchdown after catching a brilliant forward pass only the players and coaches of Harvard and Yale will realize it. What right indeed have the stands to know what Harvard is doing?
