Coach G. A. Spiegelberg, Cornell '18, devoted the time of Wednesday's lacrosse practice on Soldiers Field to drilling his charges in the fundamentals of the game. Despite a second appeal for candidates for the University and Freshman teams, only 25 men came out for the University team, while there were only six on the yearling squad.

If the fall season is to be a success, more men must come out. They should report at the Locker Building, ready to play, at 3 o'clock today, and at the same time on every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

Previous experience in playing the game is not required.

During the fall there will be a series of games between teams chosen from the University and Freshman squads combined. Members of the winning team will receive individual cups presented by the Boston Lacrosse Club. In the spring, beside the regular league games, there will be for the regular league games, there will be for the University a southern trip and a trip to Yale; while the Freshman will play their accustomed schedule, in which Yale in included.
