Crew candidates will report for fall rowing next week at the boathouses. University candidates will come out on Wednesday at the Newell boathouse, while the 1924 aspirants should report at 4 o'clock Monday at the Weld boathouse. Coach William Haines and Captain L. B. MeCagg '22 will address them at that time. All men who expect to row this year, either in spring or fall, should attend these meetings.
Prospects for Season Bright
Prospects for a successful crew season are very bright this year since but three University crew men were lost by graduation. R. Jenney '21 has returned to College and will probably to available for the crew. Captain L. B. McCagg '22, L. Terry '22, R. K. Kane '22 and M. E. Olmsted '21 are the other veterans of crew A, who have returned. The last named two are now playing football and so will probably not row this fall. Other rowers who are back are G. M. Appleton '22, H. R. Atkinson '21, M. Bradlee '22, H. Brown '22, S. Damon '21, S. A. Duncan '22 and T. T. Pond '21. E. L. Pierson '21 and F. S. Williams '22 are the coxswains who are available. Good material will also be found among the 1923 crew, all of the members of which have returned to College.
Coach William Haines will again be in charge. Dr. R. H. Howe, former Middlesex crew mentor, will be one of his assistants, and will coach the Freshmen.
