In its first meet of the season the Freshman swimming team met defeat at the hands of Huntington School by a score of 30-20 yesterday afternoon in the Boston Y.M.C.A. Six places were taken by 1923 against Huntington's ten, and only in the dive did the yearlings succeed in placing two men. The summary is as follows:
Relay: Won by Huntington.
Dive: First, Klein, Harvard; second, Goodell, Harvard; third, Jouarnet, Huntington.
50-yd. dash: First, Woods, Huntington; second, Wyman, Harvard; third, Mayer, Huntington.
100-yard dash: First, Woods, Huntington; second, Gross, Huntington; third, Keegan, Harvard.
200-yard dash: First, Meyers, Huntington; second, Gage, Huntington; third, Wilder, Harvard.
