Both Freshman crew manager candidates and candidates from 1922 for second assistant manager of the University crew will report tomorrow afternoon preparatory to the opening of the fall rowing season. The former are to report at the Newell Boat House at 3.30 o'clock, while Sophomores should see Amory Houghton '21 in Randolph 32 at 1.05 o'clock.
The 1923 competitions will be for the position of manager on the three dormitory crews, one man from Smith, one from Standish, and one man from Gore being selected. When the regular 1923 managerial competition takes place in the spring, those who have competed this fall will have the advantage of valuable experience.
The Sophomore who is chosen second assistant manager becomes assistant manager becomes assistant manager in his Junior and manager in his Senior year. This competition will be shorter than in former years.
