SHIFT IN UNIVERSITY CREWS

PRESENT SEATING MAY REMAIN UNCHANGED FOR YALE RACE.

Several shifts were made in the line-up of the University crews yesterday, in anticipation of the departure for Red Top next Friday. M. E. Olmstead '21, is reported ill, but will be able to make the trip. He will be moved into number four upon his return, and Captain F. B. Whitman '19, who has rowed at that seat most of the season will be changed to number three. S. Damon '21 has been shifted to bow on the second crew in place of C. W. Greenough '19. The present line-up which will probably remain unchanged for the Yale race on June 20, is as follows:

First crew: Stroke -- W. D. Leighton '19; 7, N. Brazer '19; 6, D. H. Morris, Jr., '21; 5, J. F. Linder '19; 4, M. E. Olmstead '21; 3, F. B. Whitman '19; 2, C. F. Batchelder '20; bow, W. Davis '21; coxswain, E. L. Peirson, Jr., '21.

Second crew: Stroke--R. Jenney '21; 7, T. T. Pond '21; 6, F. B. Lothrop, Jr., '21; 5, R. M. Sedgwick '21; 4, G. L. Batchelder, Jr., '19; 3, E. S. Brewer '19; 2, W. C. Chanler '19; bow, S. Damon '21; coxswain, R. Durfee '19. J. N. Borland '21 will be first substitute for the first University eight. Besides the full quota of the first two University crews and the ten Freshman oarsmen, the management will send P. S. Howe '17, assistant graduate treasurer of the H. A. A., Charles Harte, in charge of repair work, Freeman and Mosher, engineers, and J. L. Mosle '20 to run the launches, of which two have already been shipped to Red Top. A third launch has been placed at the disposal of the crew management by Edwin P. Lindsey A proctor will also be sent to the camp to give the final examinations in all courses, as they come due, which the men have not taken before leaving Cambridge.

The 1922 eight is now rowing as follows: Stroke, M. Bradlee; 7, C. Garland; 6, L. B. McCagg; 5, L. Terry; 4, S. A. Duncan; 3, R. K. Kane; 2, L. B. La Farge; bow, G. M. Appleton; coxswain, F. S. Williams, H. Brown and C. C. Cabot are the substitutes for the Freshman crew.
