In their first match of the season yesterday, the University rifle team defeated the Freshmen by a score of 945 to 899, at the Bay State School of Musketry. S. K. Bolton '21, captain of the University team, was highest individual point winner, scoring 199 out of a possible 200. G. F. Jewett '20 was second with 193, and W. B. Darling '22, captain of the 1922 team, third with a score of 189.
