The financial campaign of Phillips Brooks House will be officially opened at a dinner at the Colonial Club this evening at 6.30 o'clock. All the members of the three teams will be present and the principle speakers will be R. M. Thurston '16, graduate secretary of Phillips Brooks House, J. G. Coolidge '20, acting-president, and D. C. Hawkins '20, treasurer.
No goal has been set for the campaign as the amounts collected in previous years have differed too widely to give any basis for comparison. The collection of 1917-18 so far holds the record of $4,101 collected.
The drive this spring will be held under exactly the same conditions as those which usually attend the regular fall drive. The recent opening of all the societies has created a great need for funds, for Phillips Brooks House is working on the same basis as at the beginning of a normal year.
