Only a few matches were played off yesterday in the first day of the squash tennis and racquets tournaments. The demand on the courts is already so great that it has been decided to change the length of the matches to three games out of five, instead of four out of seven.
All first-round matches in both tournaments must be played off by tonight, and those who have not played will be defaulted.
