COLLEGE BUSINESS SCHOOLS TO HOLD CONFERENCE HERE

The Association of Collegiate Schools of Business will hold its first general meeting on November 13-15 in the Trophy Room of the Union. The detailed program follows:

On next Thursday, November 13, there will be an informal smoker for all members of the association at 7.30 o'clock, President Lowell will deliver the address of welcome.

First Business Session November 14.

On the following day the first business session will be held at 10 o'clock, lasting about one-half hour. The discussion at this meeting will be "The Basic Elements and Their Proper Balance in a Collegiate Business Curriculum." The principal paper will be delivered by Willard E. Hotchkiss, and will be followed by a discussion.

At 1 o'clock the Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration will act as host at a luncheon at the Union.

"Should Law Be Taught at Business School?"

At 2.30 o'clock of the same day, the association will convene for two discussions, the first, "The Teaching of Law in Collegiate Schools of Business." A paper on this will be delivered by Nathan Isaacs, and the discussion will be opened by Alfred W. Bays, Professor Lincoln F. Schaub '06, and William H. Spencer. Herman Schneider will open the second discussion by a paper on "The Co-ordination of Business and Engineering Courses."

At 7 o'clock the members of the association will be entertained at dinner at the Harvard Club, Boston.

On Saturday, November 15, the final day of the meeting, the topic of the day is "The Relation of the Collegiate School of Business to the Secondary School System," by Leon C. Marshall '02.

At 2 o'clock the second business session will complete the work of the convention.
