Raymond Franklin Wiley '20 of Waltham has been elected captain of the University Gymnastic Team and Kenneth Campbell '21 of Mt. Hamilton, California, has been chosen manager. These elections are subject to the approval of the Athletic Committee and the Student Council.
Wiley was a member of the Gym team during his first year here, where he excelled at bar work. He prepared at Waltham High School.
Campbell also took part in gymnasium work during his first year at the University. He prepared at Hotchkiss, and is a brother of the American ace. Douglas Campbell '17, who captained the Gym team during his Senior year here.
Candidates for the team may still report and will be at no disadvantage. Practice is held three afternoons and one evening a week in preparation for the contests with Dartmouth, Amherst, Yale, and other colleges and universities to be held during the winter term.
