Forty Report for 1923 Basketball

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The 1923 basketball squad was increased to 40 men at their third practice yesterday. As yet no men from the football teams have reported, but as many of them have signified their intention to come out after they have had a brief rest, it is expected that next week will find basketball well under way.

Three men have been selected to act as permanent coaches: D. E. Walter 1G. B., who coached the Lebanon "Big Five," one of the leading basketball organizations of Southern New England; J. K. Hollinger, 1G. B., who was the coach of the 75th Infantry team during the war, and K. A. Buchanan Unc.

The schedule as now planned includes games with St. George's, Andover, Exeter, Dean Academy, Worcester Academy, and Yale 1923.
