A meeting for all men interested in the mammoth Student Convention to be held in Des Moines, Iowa, from December 31 until January 4, 1920, will take place in the Sanctum of the CRIMSON at 7.15 this evening. In addition to an informal discussion of the plans and aims of the convention, W. H. Trumbull '15 will give a short speech.
Not only those men who have signified their desire to go, but also those who wish to know more about the convention, are urged to attend. At present it is known that 175 institutions have registered their full quota of one representative to each hundred students, and an attendance of over 8000 is expected.
Shortly after this meeting tonight the 50 men to represent the University will be announced, and if the quota can be increased more men will be chosen after December 1.
