Plans have been announced by the Harvard Geological Club for their first departmental field trip of the year, to be held on Saturday, November 1. At this time an excursion will be taken under the auspices of the club to Mount Monadnock, N. H., and will be open to all graduates, undergraduates and members of the graduate schools.
A special car will be available on the train leaving the Porter Station. Cambridge, at 8 A. M., for East Jaffrey, N. H. Transportation to and from the foot of the mountain will also be provided. The party will reach Cambridge at 7.50 P. M. on the return trip. The cost of the entire excursion will be $6.25.
Application blanks may be obtained on the ground floor of the Geological Museum, at Leavitt & Peirce's, or at Hollis 31. These should be filled out and sent with a check for the proper amount to Eliot C. French '20, Hollis 31. In return a ticket and instruction sheet will be received.
All applications must be in the bands of the committee before noon Wednesday October 29.
