TENNIS ENTRIES NUMBER 216

The largest fall tennis tournament ever held at Harvard opened yesterday when preliminaries were held at Jarvis Field. The entry list includes 216 names. All contestants should report promptly at Jarvis Field on the scheduled times printed below. A number of managers will be at the field to assign courts.

Call Manager Candidates.

Candidates from the Sophomore class for the second assistant managership of the University tennis team will report to P. E. Jackson '21 in Dunster 20 today at 1.05. This will be a short preliminary competition lasting two weeks. Work will have to do almost entirely with running the present tournament. Credit from this competition will be held over until the regular competition in the spring.
