Walter Hampden '00 will speak in the Living Room of the Union on Friday evening at 7.30, taking for his subject "Modern Drama and the Colleges." He will be introduced by Professor George P. Baker '87, who has charge of the dramatic courses at the University. The meeting will be open to members of the Union, invited guests and members of Professor Baker's dramatic courses.
Mr. Hampden, who is at present playing "Hamlet" at the Tremont Theatre, is) considered by leading dramatic critics the greatest living Hamlet. He has gained his experience through enacting many and diverse roles, mainly Shakespearian.
