Yale's official registration, completed yesterday, amounted to 1915 students, according to a statement issued by the University authorities. Every day a few students are entering the institution from military of naval service, as rapidly as they are being discharged. Of the present list, 352 are freshmen, 250 sophomores, 200 juniors and 150 seniors, in the academic department, a total of 925.

The Sheffield Scientific School has 688 enroled, including 360 freshmen, 194 juniors and 134 seniors. As the proposed lengthening of the course does not go into effect till next fall, there is no sophomore class. About 300 students are entered in the graduate schools, less than a third of the usual number.

The present enrolment is slightly larger than last year, when only 1,806 students were enrolled, but it is only about two-thirds of the normal registration of 3.400 students.
