HOCKEY COMPETITION OFFERS OPPORTUNITIES FOR 1922

Shortened Contest Will Open Way to Five Positions as Manager of Class and Hall Teams.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

A great opportunity is open to Freshmen in the hockey managerial competition: Thus far only ten candidates have reported, a number much smaller than usual, and surprisingly small in view of the shortened duration of the competition. Elections to the positions of manager and assistant manager will be made about February 15, which makes the competition considerably shorter than in previous years.

Previous experience is not a requisite for candidates, the work of the competition including taking charge of the details of practice and games, and the handling of equipment. There are five places to be filled, those of manager and assistant manager of the Freshman team, and managers of the three dormitory teams.

All candidates will meet at the H. A. A. today at 1 o'clock.
