The figures for the University registration on September 23 and 24 show an increase of 71 over last year's, and this increase is entirely because of the large number of those who joined the S. A. T. C. without entering any regular class, a total of 668. In the College proper there was an increase only in the unclassified students, every class being smaller than a year ago. The only other departments of the University to come near holding their own were the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, the Bussey Institution, and the Medical School.
