The first track meet of the season will take place this afternoon on Soldiers Field when the Freshman runners will compete against Worcester Academy. The first event on the program will be run off at 3 o'clock sharp, soon after the arrival of the Worcester squad. Little is known of the opposing team, but it is expected the contest will be close.
The 1921 entrants and the times set for today's events are as follows:
3.00--40-yard dash: C. A. Page, C. G. Krogness, E. O. Gourdin, J. M. B. Churchill.
3.10--45-yard hurdles: C. G. Krogness, D. F. O'Connell, C. A. Page.
3.20--300-yard dash: J. M. B. Churchill, C. A. Page, C. G. Krogness, A. W. Douglass, F. L. A. Cady.
3.20--High jump: W. Goodell, C. G. Krogness, D. F. O'Connell, E. O. Gourdin.
3.30--600-yard dash: F. L. A. Cady, A. E. Chambers, D. F. O'Connell, J. E. Nally, H. Perrin, B. W. Boyden.
3.45--12-pound shot-put: A. McElwain, R. M. Sedgwick, C. G. Krogness, W. B. Frethingham, G. G. Monks.
3.45--1,000-yard run: P. T. Cumner, J. E. Nally, D. F. O'Connell, H. Perrin, J. P. McAdams, A. E. Chambers, B. W. Boyden.
4.00--1-mile run: Same entries as 1,000-yard run.
