Owing to the lack of interest which has been shown in fencing, Captain Leslabay of the R. O. T. C. has decided to give up his class, which has been meeting on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, in order to devote his entire time to training bayonet instructors for the R. O. T. C. The bayonet class, which had been meeting only an hour and a half a week, will now meet every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 3.30 to 5 o'clock in the Randolph Gym.
There are now about 75 men, six from each company, taking the course under Captain Leslabay. It is planned to begin dummy fighting next week and if the weather permits there will probably be bouts between the men before the spring recess.
