THIRD WHITING CONCERT AT 7.45

Attractive Program Arranged; Solos by Miss Pratt, Contralto.

In the John Knowles Paine Concert Hall in the Music Building at 7.45 o'clock this evening, Mr. Arthur Whiting will give his third concert in his series of Expositions of Chamber Music. The program will consist of several Gaelic songs as well as various compositions of Debussey, Bizet and others. Miss Fernanda Pratt, a contralto of rare ability, will assist Mr. Whiting in the production of an attractive program.

There will be no charge for admission, but the concert will be open to officers and students of the University and members of the Naval Radio School and the Naval Cadet School only.

The program is as follows:

Gaelic Songs.--(Miss Pratt): Hebridean Islands (arranged by Marjorie Kennedy-Fraser): Kishmul's Galley, A Harris Love Lament, A Raasay Lilt, Milking Croon, Spinning Song, Tir-Nan-Og, A. Hebridean Sea-reiver's Song.

(Mr. Whiting): Debussy, 1862.--Poissons d'or Danseuses de Delphis, La fille aux cheveux de lin, L'isle joyeuse. Ballade,  Debussy Le Manoir de Rosamonde,  Duparc Le Secret,  Faure Le chevalier Belle-Etoile.  Holmes Excerpts from "Carmen",  Bizet "En vain pour eviter." "Les tringles des sistres." Miss Pratt.
