E. P. Warner '16, instructor in the army school of aeronautical engineering at Technology, was the speaker at an open meeting of the Aeronautical Society held in Sever 11 Tuesday evening. He traced the development of aeronautics in the past eight years, and discussed its future prospects, particularly in regard to machines for sporting and commercial purposes. He predicted that would come into general use.

The present officers of the society are: A. H. Andrews '20, president; H. W. Craver '19, vice president; S. N. Stevens '20, secretary-treasurer. One more meeting is planned before the recess. A movement has been started in the society for the creation of a course in aeronautics in the University. Experiments with a glider, which were carried on by members last year, will be continued.
