The recently organized Undergraduate Emergency Council at Yale has passed the following resolutions urging under-age men to remain in college:
"Whereas, General Wood, Captain Danford and his associates, and the Yale graduate body have expressed strongly their conviction that Yale undergraduates of the lower classes and men under age can render their highest immediate service to country by returning to college with the opening of the fall term and continuing with their education and the military training which will be provided;
"Resolved, That we, as Yale undergraduates, first, urge and advise all lower classmen not yet enlisted in any definite branch of war service to return to college in the fall;
"Second, urge and advise all preparatory school men intending to enter Yale or any other college in the fall, not to be deterred from continuing their educational career;
"Third, maintain that such a course of action at this time constitutes a patriotic service to the nation."
