SENIOR RITES WILL BE INAUGURATED TOMORROW

Commencement Week will be formally opened tomorrow afternoon when President Lowell will deliver the Baccalaureate address to the members of the Senior Class in Appleton Chapel at 4 o'clock. Professor Edward Caldwell Moore will have charge of the service. The details governing the procedure of the fourth-year men will, as customary on such occasions, be many.

The Seniors will assemble first in the Yard in front of Holworthy at 3.30 o'clock, wearing caps and gowns. The class, headed by the officers, will from there march two abreast to Appleton Chapel, where they will be seated by two of the officers. After all have been ushered to their seats, the acting chairman will give a signal, at which the entire assemblage will sit down. The same order of marching will be observed on leaving the Chapel.

The entire floor will be reserved for Seniors, except the side pews, and undergraduates and visitors will be admitted to the galleries. The following have been appointed ushers: H. A. Roberts '20, H. W. Boal '18, L. Hall '20, W. J. Hitchcock '20, S. K. Ostergaard '20, F. H. Phelps '20, and W. A. Shimer '18. The doors will be open at 3.30.

After the service, President and Mrs. Lowell will give a reception to the members of the class at their house, 17 Quincy street.

Harte Will be Absent.

The exercises for Class Day, which will be on Tuesday of next week, have been arranged in final form. Inasmuch, however, as R. Harte '17, the First Marshal, has only recently been transferred from Plattsburg to Southern camp, and will accordingly not be able to be in Cambridge for the festivities, C. A. Coolidge '17 will act as First Marshal. The program on that day will commence at 11 and continue through the ceremonies in the Stadium during the afternoon.

The Yard will be closed to the public on Commencement Day, but students will be admitted.
