ODELL FORCED TO GIVE UP CREW

A single change in the lineup of the University boats marked the crew practice of yesterday afternoon. W. R. Odell, Jr., '19, who has been rowing number two on the fourth shell, has been compelled to give up racing for the rest of the season on account of a weak heart. Odell rowed number two last year on his Freshman eight and was considered an oarsman of more than average ability. He will be able to continue rowing, but not to take part in any race.

H. G. Simonds '18 has now been brought up to the fourth crew to fill Odell's place. Simonds was a member of his Freshman four two years ago. The University crews are still working in the tank, and as yet there seems to be no near hope of outdoor practice.
