Captain Russell Won Every Match From New York Foilsmen.

The University fencing team defeated Columbia in Hemenway Gymnasium Saturday afternoon by the score of 6 to 3. Captain W. H. Russell '18 was the only man to win all of his bouts, defeating hit three opponents by good scores. This was the last match of the year for the University before the intercollegiates.

The summary of Saturday's meet follows: R. G. Crimmins '19 defeated All son, 5 to 4; W. H. Russell '18 defeated Arnaud, 9 to 7; Arnaud defeated E. R. Gay '19, 7 to 4; W. H. Russell '18 defeated Allison, 8 to 4; E. R. Gay '19 defeated Valentine, 11 to 6; R. G. Crimmins '19 defeated Valentine, 7 to 4; All son defeated E. R. Gay '19, 8 to 7 Arnaud defeated R. G. Crimmins '19, 5 to 4; W. H. Russell '18 defeated Valentine 8 to 2.
