From the canvassing campaign which will end tonight, the Junior Class finance committee hopes to realize the $1,300 necessary to carry on 19-18 class activities to the end of the year, as well as to pay for the past two smokers. Those who attend the class dinner on April 30 will be charged one dollar each, and since this will not be enough to cover expenses, one dollar for each man will be taken from the amount collected turned in today. After the two past smokers have been paid for, the number of smokers to follow will be determined by the money remaining.
Besides the subcommittee consisting of R. H. Garrison, J. Palache and A. D. Weld, the following 11 members of the finance committee are engaged in collecting subscriptions: F. G. Balch, Jr., R. G. Brown, A. A. Cook, G. C. Means, T. Nelson, F. E. Parker, Jr., R. J. H. Powel, Jr., W. Richmond, Jr., W. H. Southworth, P. Squibb and R. C. Winton.
