TEAM A TRIMMED SECOND NINE

A 6 to 1 victory of Team A over Team B was the big event of yesterday's practice for the University baseball squad. Coach Duffy, who has been emphasizing rudiments in the early practice, first put the men through a stiff preliminary workout, watching the pitchers in their warming up and allowing the men to let out a little, as their arms are rapidly limbering up. The squad was then given the usual batting and fielding practice, and afterwards lined up for base-running.

After the usual practice Team A lined up against Team B for the fourth scrub game of the week. Only one change was made in Team A, McCauley and O'Keefe taking the place of Garritt and Boyd on the pitcher's mound. For Team B Bond, Burrill, Currier, King and Wiswall were new men and Delano, Pratt and Tyler worked out in the pitcher's box for the first time.
