GYM TEAM OFF FOR HANOVER

The University gymnastic team leaves for Hanover, N. H., this noon to meet the strong Dartmouth gymnasts in its second contest of the season. The University was defeated by Brown by the score of 28 to 26 two weeks ago; and as Dartmouth recently tied the Providence team a close contest may well be expected in tonight's meet in Alumni Gymnasium. Dartmouth won only two first places in her meet with Brown, most of her points coming from four second and five third places. Halloran and Fraser, a freshman, secured first places in the meet at Providence.

Captain D. Campbell '17 will be the mainstay of the University team. Out of 26 points scored by the team in the meet with Brown he alone secured 16, with two first places and two seconds to his credit. Campbell is an especially brilliant performer on the horizontal and parallel bars, and will undoubtedly be a high scorer in tonight's meet. M. B. Blanchard '18, who won the tumbling in last year's victory over Dartmouth, bids fair to secure another first place in that event tonight.
